September 12, 2015
Registration for 2015 is not yet open.
We’re currently working with State Parks on a long-term process to make the Annadel XC the annual event on which your race calendar pivots, for now and far far into the future. Problem with long-term processes is that they’re aptly named; in order to accommodate the work we’re doing on this event, we have to postpone the 2015 Annadel XC from its typical mid-August to mid-September. In the meantime, no reason why you can’t get smarter while you wait…
3:00pm – 6:00pm–Pre-race day packet pick up at NorCal Bike Sport
7:00am – 8:15am–Still more packet pick-up, this time at our new start in Spring Lake Regional Park. We’ll be starting at the Oak Knolls picnic area just past the Newanga Avenue entrance. Note: this is different than in past years and, if you don’t ride in, vehicle fees will apply.
8:15am–Racers beginning lining up according to category. On-site signage and glamorous volunteers will show you the way.
Prizes and Awards
Top 5 racers in most categories are given a medal for placing. Categories with 10 or fewer entries and/or Beginner categories are awarded 3 deep. Great swag is also handed out by our generous sponsors to those folks who worked hard on race-day to earn themselves a spot. Cash is awarded to top pro and singlespeed open racers. You must be present in order to receive any prizes or awards given for placing in your category.
They changed slightly from last year. Hoping to give the Sport men some breathing room, and even up the category sizes in Expert and Beginner.

The Course in Detail
We’ll be running a staggered start this year from Spring Lake Regional Park. We’ll have you line up by category and send you off in intervals to keep trail congestion down. You’ll still be looking at about 25 miles with about 3,500′ of climbing, all starting as you leave Spring Lake, ascend the Violetti Trail, and drop into the maw of Annadel State Park.
