LandPaths is happy to have you join us for a Willow Creek Day Use permit orientation at the Willow Creek addition to the Sonoma Coast State Park. State Parks has asked LandPaths to assist in providing interim management and permitted access for this 3,373-acre addition. Once you complete this short orientation, you will be issued a free permit that will allow you to hike, bike and horseback ride on the property much as you would any other State Park.
The orientation will involve sitting or standing while LandPaths staff goes over the details of the program. Please bring something to sit on if that will make you more comfortable.
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the trails at Willow Creek per State Park rules and regulations. Thanks for your cooperation.
NOTE ABOUT PERMIT EXPIRATION & RENEWAL:
After attending this orientation, you will be issued a permit that will expire in at the end of September. This is due to the expiration of our current funding grant from the State Coastal Conservancy. W e are actively working on securing funding to continue this program through 2010.
We will provide more details about this community-powered park project at the orientation. We hope to see you there.
When: We will meet promptly at 6pm, on Wednesday, July 22. Please be on time as we will start promptly. The orientation will take approximately 45 minutes. If you are running more than 10 minutes late please plan on attending another orientation. Thank you for your understanding.
